This contest is open to all residents of Canada. One entry per household. The deadline for entering the contest is April 1st, 2008 6 p.m. EDT.

Employees and agents of Dorling Kindersley Ltd, Tourmaline Editions Inc, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, assignees, licensees and members of their immediate families (spouse and children, siblings and parents and their spouses) and individuals residing in the domiciles of each of the above are ineligible.

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws in Canada and is void where prohibited by law. By entering, you agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and any decision of the contest sponsors relating to the contest.

There are two prizes valued at approximately $60.00 (retail), consisting of copies of 3 exclusive Eyewitness Books, and Eyewitness Hat and an Eyewitness Calendar.

The Prize is non-transferable, must be taken as awarded without substitution and is not redeemable for cash. The contest sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winner will be selected in a random draw on May 5th, 2008 in Toronto. The winners will be notified by email and by phone.

By entering, contest participants release and hold harmless Dorling Kindersley Ltd and Tourmaline Editions Inc of any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or prize.

In order to be declared a winner, the selected winner must have correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question posted on the website and signed up for the DK Canada newsletter using a valid email address.

Prizewinners will be required to sign a release form. Noncompliance to this requirement will result in disqualification and another selected winner will be awarded the prize.

The selected winner will be required to also sign a publicity release allowing the publication, broadcast or posting on the website of their name and city for publicity purposes without compensation other than the prize offered. All release forms must be returned within five (5) business days of the date of receipt by the selected winners in order to claim the prize.
