Christoph trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London and specialized at the world-famous Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital. His particular interest is in dealing with high-risk pregnancies and his research papers focus on fetal problems such as fetal growth restriction, high blood pressure of pregnancy (pre-eclampsia) and special ultrasound scanning techniques including Doppler. He has edited textbooks including Ten Teachers Obstetrics, Making Sense of Obstetric Doppler Ultrasound and has contributed chapters to books such as the authoritative Dewhurst's Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
